For conformance, performance and interoperability testing in today's demanding test environment, Spirent introduces the new DLS 5404 ADSL2++ Differential Mode Noise Injector. The DLS 5404 conditions input signals from Spirent's DLS 5200 Series xDSL noise generators, and applies them in differential mode to simulated or real wirelines. It also offers a hardware combination capability, allowing users to combine two independent noise inputs into one output. The DLS 5404 enables the user to inject different noises simultaneously on both ends of the wireline simulator, and offers the bandwidth needed to support both ADSL2++ and VDSL applications.

Used with the DLS 8100 (or the DLS 8111) VDSL Wireline Simulator, the DLS 8110 helps to provide VDSL test loops that include variable bridged taps with small increments.

To assist data rate conformance and performance testing in VDSL chipset and modem development, Spirent Communications has launched the DLS 8111 VDSL Wireline Simulator. A DLS 8111 system helps to provide VDSL test loops, which covers the bandwidth continuously from DC to 30 MHz. The DLS 8111 can be combined with the DLS 8110 VDSL Bridged Tap Simulator to provide cable and bridged tap combinations.
