AX/4000
Mainframe Chassis

The AX/4000 mainframe chassis supplies timing signals, distributes power and provides cooling for its Control Module and sixteen slots of AX/4000 test modules and port interfaces. Because every test module connected to the AX/4000 bus has a unique address, each can be accessed individually and operated independently. This permits multiple users to access modules in the same chassis simultaneously.

This electrical interface provides RJ-45 HUB and NIC connectors and uses 10/100BASE-T line coding, with auto negotiation or manual interface configuration.

 
ABR Emulation Option

The ABR Emulation Option permits AX/4000 Version II modules and mAX modules to emulate an Available Bit Rate end system for ABR system testing. This software allows users to generate up to 7 streams of ABR traffic and analyze the resulting ATM traffic stream statistics based on the ATM Forum Traffic Management 4.0 specifications.

These products incorporate MPLS signaling emulation, MPLS-labeled traffic generation and analysis and protocol decodes.
