Spirent TestCenter includes software and hardware components that enable customers to accelerate the testing process using a single application that centralizes functional and performance testing.
High Scalability - Spirent TestCenter's highly scalable architecture can generate significant amounts of test traffic to really put equipment through its paces. Each port on the TestCenter can generate up to 32,767 TCP/IP streams or analyze up to 65,535 streams in real time.
High Density - Spirent TestCenter has 12 modules per chassis, and each module can house 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports giving you a grand total of 96 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single 5U chassis. And of course multiple chassis can be combined to achieve extremely high port density in a relatively small space.
Integrated Test Methodology - Automation tools shared by all Spirent TestCenter software components increase testing efficiency by simplifying results analysis, reducing human intervention and empowering non-expert programmers. An integrated dashboard provides powerful wizards to speed tasks such as system configuration, highly granular traffic generation controls and both real-time and historical analysis tools, such as protocol event logs and integrated capture/decode. Without the disruption of changing applications or environments, TestCenter users can switch between automated testing and interactive control.
Common Automation Framework - Spirent TestCenter gives the test engineer a common look and feel regardless of which protocol or feature is being tested, or which API is being used. Your team only needs to learn a single interface to test an array of technologies and protocols and because of this, a test engineer with little programming skills can quickly come up to speed and start automating test cases. TestCenter automation also encourages the re-use of test cases between groups within your organization.
